About Us
Little Bunnies Day Nursery
The nursery consists of three rooms – the Baby room, a Toddler room and a Pre-School.
Little Bunnies has been awarded ‘Outstanding’ from Ofsted as an early year’s provider in the most recent inspection.
All our team hold an appropriate Childcare Qualification or working towards one. All our team hold mandatory qualifications in Food Hygiene, Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding. These are updated every 3 years. Management and senior team members have extensive training in all areas of the Early Years, with the relevant qualifications to facilitate their roles within the nursery.
We welcome prospective new families to visit Little Bunnies where they can meet the team, view the nursery and discuss their specific requirements.
Children are offered a healthy mid-morning and afternoon snack. Hot meals for lunch; sandwiches, ploughman’s or wraps at tea time, all followed by a pudding. Fresh water and milk are available during the day. If you prefer to bring a packed lunch for your child, we have appropriate storage facilities.
Little Bunnies has an in-house CCTV system for parents to view their children and for training opportunities. The management and all of our team complete peer observations to support each other and offer guidance on activity ideas.
We work in partnership with other professionals, including speech & language therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and a professional sports coach.
Our menus are reviewed and changed on a monthly basis to ensure the children have a healthy, balanced and nutritious diet. We promote the importance of healthy eating and exercise.
We will discuss with parents/carers their child’s dietary needs and preferences, including any allergies or intolerance’s.
We have a strong and valued Keyworker & Co-Worker system throughout the nursery and hold monthly drop in sessions to discuss an individual child’s care and development along with a yearly parents evening.
Our outside garden is made full use of – whatever the weather!

Sian Dawson
Proprietor
I always wanted to work with children, and I have a passion for childcare and development. I want to ensure every child at Little Bunnies has the best start in life by giving them confidence to thrive and discover their own unique talent.
My previous career is relevant to my work at Little Bunnies. I worked in other nursery settings, then as a children’s nanny in London and overseas. More recently I worked in commercial & financial services. I believe that this experience will stand me in good stead for the efficient but caring management of the nursery.
My overriding ambition is to ensure Little Bunnies continues to provide a warm and caring environment while, at the same time, delivering a high-quality education for the children.
The team and I are working hard to make sure the children at Little Bunnies have the best start and an amazing experience whilst at the nursery.

I was promoted to the Nursery Manager in 2015 which involves managing the staff and setting. I ensure that Little Bunnies provides a warm and caring environment to all our parents, children and visitors. Little Bunnies delivers a high-quality education for children below statutory age.
