What hours are you open?

Our Nursery is open Monday to Friday 7:30am – 6pm.
We are closed Bank Holidays and for 2 weeks over the Christmas holiday period.

When is the latest pick-up time?
Our doors close at 6pm* however we do ask that you allow at least 10 minutes for a full hand over with a member of our staff. We do appreciate you letting us know if you are running late. There is a fee to pay if you arrive later than 6pm as set out in our policies.

*Our insurance only covers us up to 6pm and we are not covered to have children on the premises after 6pm.

Do I have to pay if I take my child on holiday, or they are sick?

Yes, every booked session has to be paid in full. For holiday absence, with a 2 weeks’ notice, we will not charge you for food if you have our meals.  

Can I change my days or sessions once my child starts nursery?

If we have the availability to change your child’s session, we will try to accommodate your requirements, however this is not aways possible and you will be placed on a waiting list. We will keep you informed if a space does become available.

Are you registered to accept government funding for 3-4 year olds?

Yes, we do accept the governments Universal and Additional funding for 3–4 year olds and the 2 year old funding.

Do you accept voucher scheme payments?

Yes, we do accept voucher scheme payments and are set up to receive ‘Tax-Free Childcare’ through the government.

Do you supply nappies and wet wipes?

We supply Tesco nappies and wipes which are included in your fee’s until your child turns 3 years old. Once your child turns 3 years old, nappies and wipes will be chargeable unless you would prefer to bring your own. We do encourage all children to be potty trained before they start pre-school or turn 3 years old.

What food is provided at the nursery?

We have an in-house cook who prepares food on a daily basis – there is an additional charge for meals. Snacks are included in your fees whilst in baby and toddler room. In pre-school there is an additional charge for snacks during the sessions your child attends.

Can my child bring any personal belongings?

Comforters are always welcome to help your child settle at nursery – once they are comfortable, we encourage them to keep them safe in their bags.

We do ask that you leave toys at home as we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to the toys or belongings etc.

What do I need to bring to nursery?

We ask that you bring spare clothes, which are clearly named and for potty training, please provide extra clothes and if possible, another pair of shoes.

Weather appropriate clothing ie hats, gloves, wellies or sun hats and suncream (which can be left at the nursery) should be bought in.

Our team are passionate about childcare and ensure every child feels safe and secure in an environment that combines fun and learning where every child can thrive to achieve their full potential and develop into confident individuals.

Children with Special Educational Needs are welcome and included in the setting as far as possible with an Individual Education Plan (IEP) in place to work with the child, key person, parents/carers and outside agencies.
